Placement Cell

The Placement Cell is instrumental in placing the students in schools and colleges by coordinating with various institutions. Our college has a placement cell that helps students in their career planning, preparation for selection tests and placements. The placement cell every year invites prominent schools and colleges of various national boards to provide students with the best career options suited to their potential. Alumni of the college are also updated of all the vacancies and new career options to help the eligible avail of the opportunity. Many of college alumni occupy prominent positions in different departments of govt. as well as in private sectors. The placement cell takes all efforts to match student’s career aspirations with the requirements of the organizations that visit our campus for the recruitment drive. Many reputed schools visit our campus for the recruitment every year. The college placement cell works tirelessly throughout the year to facilitate students' entry into the job market through campus placements. The main purpose of this cell is to help students get a job.

Placement Cell Activities

• Under this cell, various seminars and lectures are arranged for the students to make them aware about how to get a job according to their skills/interest.
• Letters from various institutes/companies having vacancies are regularly displayed on the notice board.
• It also conducts training programs for the students to enable them to face interviews with confidence, resume writing and provides career counseling. Other programmes include workshops on self esteem, presentation skills, communication skills, Personality Development and mock personal interviews etc.
• Many reputed schools and institutes send their requisition to the college for qualified and competent teachers namely Vaish Public School Rohtak, Vaish Sr. Sec. School Rohtak, Vaish Girls Sr. Sec. School Rohtak, Geeta Vidya Mandir High School Rohtak.
• The teacher requirements in different schools, advertised in the newspapers are also put up on the notice board.
• Networks are made with practice teaching schools, other schools, Junior colleges and NGOs.
• The cell creates a comfortable interactive interface between the school authorities and the student teachers.
• It makes the record of the details of the recruitments, arranges for career talks and prepares database of student placements.
• Last but not the least it ensures right person in the right place in the right job.

• The Placement Cell remains in constant touch with the prospective employers to intimate their human resource requirement.
• On learning the requirements, a mutually agreeable date is fixed for holding interview at the college campus and the candidates are guided and trained for the demonstrations and interviews.
• The placement cell has helped in securing good number of jobs for their graduates and post graduates in various schools and education colleges.
• A good number of students are helped through the placement cell by means of their recommendations to various institutions.
• The request for the teachers is received telephonically or through personal contact. The college takes a prompt action to place its students by contacting them on phone and informing them about the place and time of interview.
